BOE Meeting Nov 7th


North Shore Board of Education Meets on Thursday, November 7, at North Shore Middle School

The North Shore Board of Education will meet on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the North Shore Middle School Cafeteria. This meeting is open to the public and there will be a public Audit Committee Meeting at 7 PM. The agenda will include establishing the 2020-21 Budget Priorities. Prior to the meeting, there will be a Bond Building Tour at the Middle School beginning at 5:30 PM (starting at the main entrance) with  Superintendent Dr. Giarrizzo, trustees and administrators.
The Board is proposing a bond referendum on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in the amount of $39,899,786. It is designed to be tax neutral and have no year-to-year increase to your taxes. The priority areas include major enhancements to safety and security, infrastructure, instructional spaces, air cooling of classrooms and learning spaces, and health and wellness. Dr. Giarrizzo along with members of the Board and administration will be available to answer questions and discuss the total scope of projects in the upcoming bond
