More Than 33 Thanksgiving Baskets Delivered to Families in Need Thanks to North Shore High School Community

The North Shore High School community rallied to create and distribute to more than 33 local families in need. The decorated baskets contained all the makings of a complete dinner in addition to pantry staples, along with a gift card to a local grocery store and a heartfelt message from the creators of the basket.

Community Service Advisor, Ms. Christine Halloran stated, “Juniors Sam Rosencrans, Sophie Rosencrans, and Gillian D’Amico took the lead in getting students involved. They also helped with delivery of the baskets.” She added,  “Thank you to the custodial staff for helping facilitate delivery.   Recipients were grateful for the generosity shown and the donors appreciated the opportunity to help the local community.”
