Congratulations Middle School Eighth Graders!
Congratulations to all of the North Shore Middle School eighth graders who graduated on June 24, 2021! It was a sunny summer day as Principal Robert Dennis took center stage and welcomed his students as well as all of their loving parents and family members to the Moving On ceremony. Everyone was dressed beautifully and you could feel the excitement outside on the North Shore High School campus. To begin the ceremony, the Pledge of Allegiance was led by Ava Gibstein and Louisa Ludmar. As Principal Dennis began his speech, he left the podium to sing an original song with his colleagues in the music department titled, “NSMS Love,” to the tune of Seasons of Love” from the musical, Rent. It focused on his students and emphasized the love at the middle school during this challenging year.
During the ceremony, many of the eighth graders graciously received recognitions while others spoke about their years at North Shore Middle School. Principal Rob Dennis and Assistant Principal Brendan Nelson warmly congratulated the awards winners including:

After the awards, the following students were called up to the podium to reflect on their years at North Shore Middle School including Caroline Winchester, Julianna Lopez, Gianna Stella, Janessa Reyes, Paul Panagos, Connor Darouvar, and Grace Ryan. Towards the end of the ceremony, all of the eighth graders were individually called on to receive their diplomas. They had grown up so much during these three short years at the middle school and were all excited to move on to the high school where they could have more independence, expand their circle of friends and sing in the hallways! Principal Eric Contreras was the first to warmly welcome his incoming freshman class to North Shore High School.
Congratulation to all of the North Shore Middle School eighth graders! We wish you, the Class of 2021, only the best as you move on to North Shore High School. We know you are ready for all of the challenges and wonderful things ahead. Please enjoy your summer and we will see you in September at the 9th grade orientation at North Shore High School!
